Limits on who can apply

Any female American citizen whose citizenship was attained by birth and not naturalization and who has graduated from an accredited institution with at least a 3.0 average in her major is eligible to receive a scholarship award. Each scholarship award shall be in the form of an outright grant of no less than $5,000 and no more than $25,000.
