To be eligible for a grant, organizations should be considered tax-exempt, with 501(c)(3) tax status. The Fund may award grants to non-charities, when funds are earmarked for charitable purposes. The Fund exercises expenditure responsibility for grants to non-charities and generally does not accept unsolicited requests from non-charities.
