How to ask

Applicants are required to submit a complete biographical record with supporting material, including a report on their academic and professional careers, a detailed statement of their training plans, a statement of their plans and commitments after the program, letters of reference (which include recommendations from advisors) and lists of publications, if any. Each applicant must also convince the foundation of its financial need for the grant funds.

Limits on who can apply

Grantees are expected to pursue a career in a specialized field consistent with the charitable purposes for which the foundation was organized, which include medical research or study at colleges, universities or graduate schools with a focus on medical research. In each case, it is stipulated that a renewal of the grant for any succeeding period is contingent upon evidence of adequate performance at the time of the review which includes a grant progress report due no later than one month…
