The individual and property applications are available online at www.gphousing.com or by emailing info@gphousing.com. Individuals are required to submit completed application, proof of acceptance or current student enrollment in college, most recent transcript, schooling expenses, other financial assistance received, as well as a narrative explaining why the individual beleives that they should be selected as a grant recipient.

Limits on who can apply

Rent assistance awards are awarded only to eligible students, medical residents, or student nurses who are renting living space in a specified area in Grosse Pointe Park. Award amount may not exceed 50% of rent or 400 per month. Applicant must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at a four year university (undergraduate freshmen are not eligible), must have GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible for grant consideration and must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA while in the program,…
