Grant applications should be submitted in writing and must include satisfactory evidence to assure the trustees the applicant is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization to which the trust may provide funds in accordance with pertinent Internal Revenue Service Code and regulations. The applicants must include, at a minimum, a description of the program for which funding is sought, what benefits of the program are going to be, and the costs of the program.
