During the fiscal year, the Alfa Foundation maintained a scholarship program under which it will annually award 100 scholarships of $1,000 each. To apply, one must be a member of the Alabama Farmer's Federation (an affiliate of the foundation's sponsoring organization, Alfa Mutual Insurance Company) and be enrolled (or about to be enrolled) as a student in an Alabama post-secondary institution.
