Awards are made only to charitable organizations qualified under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as limited by those purposes for which a charitable trust may be created under Sec. 405 of the Kansas Uniform Trust Code, as amended. In addition, the foundation may make unsolicited grants to organizations whose activities will further the foundation's exempt purposes.
