The Santa Cruz Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, awards grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofits conducting charitable work that directly benefits residents of Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Requests up to $10,000 are considered for programs with a one-year grant period. Applications open October 5, 2026 and close November 6, 2026 at 5:00pm Arizona time.

Eligibility details

• Notes: Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) in good standing conducting charitable work in Santa Cruz County; fiscal agents permitted (fiscal sponsor must be 501(c)(3) in good standing). Organization must have local leadership (board of directors or advisory committee), local financial support, and local program management and accountability. Nationally-sponsored organizations may not use any portion of the grant to support the national, state, or regional entity. Proposed program must directly benefit people living in Santa Cruz County. Grants are generally not made to individuals, for-profit organizations, government entities, capital fund drives, agency endowments, individual schools, or for sectarian purposes. Grant period is one year. Agency must be current in all reporting requirements to CFSA and its affiliates. Only one application per organization.
