Eligibility details
- Notes: Open to any nonprofit in the East Alabama area. Applicants must submit required documents including current and prior year operating budgets, audited financial statement (if available), Core Operating Standards for Nonprofits, IRS Letter of Determination, board of directors listing, and a letter endorsing the project from the organization president. Grants are not awarded to individuals, annual fundraising drives/events/marketing campaigns, endowments, partisan political advocacy, regular operating support or capital projects, religious purposes (though educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations are supported), research, sponsorship of fundraising events, or start-up costs.
