About this grant
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Coastal Fisheries Division requests proposals for federally funded State Wildlife Grants (SWG) projects that address high-priority portions of the Texas State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP) and conserve Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN). Eligible entities include institutions of higher education, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and federal (except Dept. of Interior), state, and local government offices. Projects require a 35% non-federal match and may run up to four years.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Only institutions of higher education (public or private), 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, and federal (except Dept. of Interior), state, and local (county, city) government offices are eligible. Consultants and consulting agencies are not eligible. Applicants must have knowledge of Texas procurement rules, federal regulations (2 CFR 200), and administrative capacity to manage federally funded sub-awards. Proposals must cite at least one page, species, or section of the SWAP.
