- Up to $2,500Grant requests up to $2,500 will be considered. Grants to an organization cannot exceed $2,500 in a calendar year, which can be split between two or more grants. Schools are exempt from this limit; individual school groups, classrooms, clubs, and sports teams are each eligible for up to $2,500 per calendar year.

About this grant
The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Grants program supports organizations led by or serving community members of color, including Black and Indigenous people, as well as LGBTQ+, immigrant, neurodiverse, veteran, and/or disability community members. Grants of up to $2,500 are available for general operating support, events, programs, and trainings that promote equity and inclusion in five counties in Northern Michigan and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Nonprofit, educational, governmental, and Tribal entities across Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties, as well as the sovereign nation of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, are eligible to apply. Individuals are not eligible. For school-based applications, one or more students must be involved in submitting the application.
