Rural Impact Investment Fund (RIIF)

The Rural Impact Investment Fund is a community-led regranting initiative that provides flexible, unrestricted general operating support grants, capacity building grants, and leadership development grants to rural grassroots leaders and small nonprofits with budgets of $250,000 or less in four Central Texas counties. The fund aims to strengthen the nonprofit ecosystem and support organizations improving health and well-being for economically disadvantaged and historically marginalized communities.
Eligibility
- notes: Must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt and in good standing, or apply through a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Must have annual operating budget of $250,000 or less. Must have physical address and work in at least one of four counties: Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, or Williamson County, Texas. Must focus on improving health and well-being for individuals/families experiencing economic hardship and marginalized communities. Does not fund endowments, political activities, legislation influence, or programs requiring adherence to specific religious beliefs (though faith-based organizations serving the broader community may apply).
