About this grant
The Burroughs Wellcome Fund's Next Generation Pregnancy Initiative funds innovative basic science research on the biological mechanisms of healthy pregnancy, preterm birth, pregnancy loss after 12 weeks, and preeclampsia. The program supports high-risk/high-reward projects focused on fundamental molecular and physiological mechanisms, with an emphasis on prevention of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
