About this grant
Capital grants support capital improvements to an arts and culture organization's space, typically as part of a larger capital campaign; operations, capacity building, and endowments are not funded. Priority goes to projects serving multiple organizations and diverse communities, supporting equitable access, artist live/work space, and filling gaps in the arts ecosystem. Applications are accepted quarterly with published 2026-2027 deadlines.
Eligibility details
- Notes: 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and culture organizations that own, are purchasing, or hold a long-term lease (5+ years) on space; mission focused on producing and presenting in-person arts experiences for the public; based in the city of Denver and delivering the majority of programs in Denver; demonstrated consistent in-person public arts programming; strong DEI commitment. Organizations with operating budgets typically over $5 million are unlikely to receive significant capital gifts.
