About this grant
The Arts Build Communities (ABC) grant program, administered by the Tennessee Arts Commission through 12 regional designated agencies, supports arts projects that broaden access to arts experiences, address community quality of life issues, or enhance the sustainability of asset-based cultural enterprises. Grants of up to $5,000 are available to eligible Tennessee organizations for projects taking place between August 16, 2026 and June 15, 2027.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Open to organizations for arts activities if they meet all applicable requirements. Eligible applicants include Tennessee-chartered 501(c)(3) nonprofits and entities of government (city/county departments, public libraries, public schools). Colleges and universities are eligible only for activities that clearly serve surrounding communities or the State and involve a broad audience; credit-producing or primarily collegiate/academic activities are not eligible. Individuals are not eligible. Organizations awarded Major Cultural Institution or Partnership Support funding (including Small Urban and Small Rural Partnership Support) are not eligible in FY2027.
