Eligibility details
- Notes: Applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits. Projects must fall within health, education, or welfare; demonstrate continued support after Foundation involvement; involve active participation by the sponsor; benefit others beyond the recipient organization; not duplicate existing grants; not purchase land; not support general operating costs or permanent endowments; and not involve propaganda or discriminatory restrictions. Projects must be located in or directly benefit Southern Arizona or the geographic area where a Board member resides; requests from outside Southern Arizona benefiting rural Arizonans are considered case-by-case. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals.
