About this grant

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) administers discretionary grants under the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act (CCCA) and Pretrial Services Act (PSA) to support local community-based probation and pretrial services agencies. Funds help provide sentencing alternatives such as treatment, intervention, education, risk assessment, and supervision for adults convicted of misdemeanors or non-violent felonies. Only county or city governments are eligible to receive these grants.
