About this grant
The Yawkey Foundation's Program & Small Capital Grants support high-impact, strategic, and responsive nonprofit organizations in delivering their core missions through discrete, timebound projects. Grants of up to $100,000, most often paid over one year, may fund a discrete program need, a small project, or a piece of equipment aligned with a nonprofit's purpose.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Nonprofits may submit only one Initial Proposal per calendar year, regardless of grant type. Proposals must align with the Foundation's mission and Areas of Giving and demonstrate strong leadership and proven impact serving unmet needs in underserved regions within the Foundation's geographic priority areas, including Gateway Cities in Eastern Massachusetts. All Initial Proposals must include a detailed project or program budget using the Philanthropy MA Budget Template. Funding is not provided for general or ongoing program operations, personnel expenses (including stipends), consultants, or programs specific to individual public or charter schools/districts, cities, towns, or counties.
