About this grant

The Nevada Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant program funds nonprofit and public agencies that provide direct services to victims of crime, including child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and underserved victim populations. Funds support crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, emergency services, and other direct victim assistance. Eligible applicants include victim services organizations, criminal justice agencies, hospitals, tribes, and other public agencies.

Eligibility details

  • Notes: Eligible organizations include victim services organizations whose sole mission is to provide direct services to crime victims (e.g., sexual assault and rape treatment centers, domestic violence programs and shelters, child abuse programs, centers for missing children, mental health services, community-based victim coalitions). Criminal justice agencies (law enforcement, prosecutors' offices, courts, corrections, probation/parole), religiously-affiliated organizations, hospitals and emergency medical facilities, state and local public agencies, Native American Tribes/Organizations, legal service agencies, and public housing authorities with victim services components are also eligible.
