Eligibility details
- Notes: Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) entities formed and operated in New Jersey, with an IRS Letter of Determination documenting nonprofit status. Gleaning organizations must be actively involved in hands-on harvesting of surplus produce from New Jersey farms, orchards, and gardens; seafood recovery organizations must be actively involved in hands-on recovery of surplus seafood from New Jersey fisheries, docks, or markets. Applicants must submit an implementation plan and distribute food only to New Jersey organizations serving New Jersey's food-insecure residents.
