About this grant
The Opportunity for Youth Fund provides financial assistance to young people whose families cannot afford activities they have earned the right to participate in, such as camps, clinics, athletic activities, and AP testing. Funds are paid directly to the organization providing the activity, not to individuals. The fund may also selectively support other youth-benefiting causes.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Young people whose families' financial means do not allow them to pay for activities for which the young person has earned the right to participate. Funds are paid directly to the organization providing the activity; the fund cannot pay individuals directly. The committee looks for commitment from parents/guardians for a portion of the total cost. Requests for completed activities are not considered.
