About this grant
The Small Grants program provides one-time funding for expenses within the Putnam County community, funded by the Community Foundation's unrestricted endowments. Requests must be under $5,000 and relate to specified areas of interest such as animal welfare, arts and culture, education, and health and human services. Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until annual funds are exhausted.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Requests must be less than $5,000 and relate to at least one area of interest: Animal Welfare, Arts and Culture, Civic and Community, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Health and Human Services, Nonprofit Capacity Building, Recreation, and Youth Leadership. Small Grants will not sustain operating or programming costs year-to-year; requests covering a portion of a new ongoing expense must explain future sustainability. Organizations with prior small grants must have completed all reporting requirements. Emergencies or immediate needs are prioritized.
