About this grant
The purpose of this multi-component NOFO is to improve the health of pregnant and postpartum women and their newborns through quality improvement. CDC will fund two components. Component A will support state Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs). PQCs are state-based organizations that support quality improvement (QI) efforts in health facilities and whose approach has been successful in improving outcomes for moms and their babies. Key expected strategies for Component A include strengthening PQC capacity, conducting data-driven QI initiatives, building and strengthening data systems, and developing partnerships to improve coordination and alignment of perinatal QI initiatives.
