- Notes: Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government entities whose activities or requested programming take place in Colorado. Organizations must have an active 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter or a fiscal agent with active 501(c)(3) status and must have fiscal responsibility for the proposed project. Ineligible: individuals, K-12 public schools (limited capital consideration for non-publicly funded secondary schools), other grantmaking foundations/nonprofits, camps and seasonal activities, religious programs, scientific research, endowments, organizations practicing discrimination, private foundations or non-functionally-integrated 509(a)(3) organizations, deficit/debt elimination, travel/conferences, lobbying/political activity, and media production.
