About this grant
Sunmark Credit Union partners with the Homebuyer Dream Program to provide grants up to $15,000 for first-time homebuyers in New York. Funds can be used for down payment, closing costs, or other homebuying expenses. Three program options (HDP, HDP Plus, HDP Wealth Builder) serve different income levels and first-generation homebuyers.
Eligibility details
- Notes: First-time homebuyers who have not owned a home in the past 3 years, meet income requirements (varies by program and county; up to 80% AMI for HDP, 80-120% AMI for HDP Plus, up to 120% AMI for HDP Wealth Builder), and complete homeownership counseling. HDP Wealth Builder targets first-generation homebuyers and majority-minority census tracts.
