About this grant

The Century Fund supports civic, economic development, recreational, and youth grant initiatives for residents of Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties in Pennsylvania. For 2026, one $25,000 grant is available, with a focus on positive youth development for adolescents ages 13-17.

Eligibility details

• Notes: Nonprofit organizations qualified to receive tax-exempt contributions (typically 501(c)(3) or units of local government under Section 170(c)(1)); nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status may use a fiscal sponsor; must not discriminate; must benefit residents of Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and/or Union County. Religious organizations may only apply for community-wide programs; school districts and school district foundations may only apply if collaborating with one or more districts. Ineligible: annual campaigns, pre-approval costs, endowments, general operating expenses, indirect costs, multi-year requests, deficits, political advocacy, re-granting, individuals, loans/scholarships/fellowships/travel, and requests where alternate pending funding sources exceed 25% of budget.
