About this grant
The Community Foundation for the CSRA's Community Grants Program funds 501(c)(3) organizations and public entities providing programs that directly benefit residents of Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina and Burke, Columbia, Richmond, and McDuffie counties in Georgia. Funding supports projects in Arts, Culture & Heritage; Education, Opportunity & Workforce Readiness; Health, Wellness & Resilience; and Basic Needs & Stability. The 2027 application opens July 1, with an early review deadline of July 15 and a final deadline of August 14.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Organizations must be recognized as charitable under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, be a public entity, or be another qualifying charitable, educational, or cultural organization. Programs must directly benefit residents of Burke, Columbia, McDuffie, and Richmond counties in Georgia and/or Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. First-time applicants and organizations that did not receive a Community Grants award in 2024, 2025, or 2026 were required to attend a June Grant Seeker Session; those who did not attend are ineligible for the 2027 cycle.
